new lead type

Tax resolution, for firms qualified to do it.

Taxpayers with an IRS problem, delivered as booked meetings to firms whose credentials we have actually looked at. It is the newest thing we sell and the most gated, on purpose.

$150per meeting, down to $115 at volume1:1every meeting exclusive to you

what you receive

A taxpayer, a problem, a time on your calendar.

Tax resolution runs inside Booked For You, so what lands in your portal is a booked meeting, not a name to chase. The taxpayer described their IRS situation, verified their phone, and picked a slot you had open.

The situation they described
The nature of the IRS problem, what they have already tried, and the deadlines they are up against. Enough that you walk into the call knowing what you are walking into.
Contact details, phone-verified
A phone number the taxpayer proved they hold, plus an email address. Both checked before the meeting is offered to you.
A meeting on your calendar
A time you had open, written straight to your Google or Microsoft calendar. You are not racing two other firms to be the first call back.

why it is gated

Not every firm should take this work.

Tax resolution is representation in front of the IRS. The people who can do it are enrolled agents, CPAs, and tax attorneys, and we would rather turn away revenue than route a distressed taxpayer to a firm that cannot help them.

  1. 01

    Request enrollment

From inside your portal, the firm owner asks to join the tax resolution program. It is a request, not a checkout.

  2. 02

    We read your credentials

An admin reviews the designations on your firm profile by hand. No automated approval, and no way to click past this step.

  3. 03

You are approved into the pool

Approval puts you in a pool that is entirely separate from bookkeeping: its own matching, its own credit wallet, its own history.

  4. 04

    Meetings start landing

Same calendar, same caps, same booking mechanics as the rest of Booked For You. Only the pool and the prospect are different.

To be exact about what that gate is: an admin reads the credentials on your firm profile and approves or declines the enrollment. It is a human review of what you have told us, not a live lookup against a licensing board. We think you should know which one it is.

where they come from

We find the taxpayers. We do not buy lists.

The difference matters more than any adjective we could put in front of the word lead. Tax resolution prospects come from our own advertising, aimed at people with an IRS problem they cannot solve on their own.

  1. 01

    We run the advertising

Our own campaigns, aimed at taxpayers who have an IRS problem they cannot solve on their own. Nothing here is scraped from a directory or bought from a list broker.

  2. 02

    The taxpayer asks for help

They submit an inquiry about their situation: a notice, a balance they cannot pay, a return they cannot file, a representation need. They took an action that says they have a problem.

  3. 03

    They describe the situation

A set of questions about the nature of the IRS problem, what they have already tried, and what deadlines they are up against. It takes real thought to finish, which is most of why these records read differently from a form fill.

  4. 04

They verify their own phone number

The taxpayer enters a one-time code sent by SMS. The person on the other end proved they hold the phone, which is what cuts fake numbers, typos, and idle form activity.

  5. 05

    We match and book

A credentialed firm in the tax resolution pool is offered the slot, and the meeting is written straight to your calendar. You are not handed a name to chase; you are handed a time to show up.

kept separate

A different program, not a different filter.

Tax resolution is not the bookkeeping program with a tag on it. Almost everything downstream of your approval runs on its own track.

A separate pool

Tax resolution matching never touches the bookkeeping pool. Being approved for one says nothing about the other, and firms in both are tracked independently.

A separate wallet

Tax resolution credits live in their own balance. They cannot be spent on bookkeeping meetings, and bookkeeping credits cannot be spent here.

A separate approval

Running a bookkeeping practice with us does not enroll you. The credential review happens on its own, for this program only.

the protections

Strict, and strict in your favor.

These are the constraints we run the program under. They read as restrictions on us, which is the point: loose rules mean higher prices for everyone. Tax resolution inherits every Booked For You protection, in its own wallet.

Credits never expire
There is no use-it-or-lose-it window and no expiry date on a credit. Tax resolution credits live in their own wallet and cannot be spent on bookkeeping meetings.
Every meeting is yours alone
A tax resolution meeting is never shared with another firm. That exclusivity is most of what you are buying here.
Your calendar is the throttle
Close your availability and bookings stop. Set daily, weekly, or monthly caps and we stop at them. There is no cancellation ritual and no one to call.
You cannot be over-delivered
Cap checks happen inside the same lock as the credit deduction, and they count the day a meeting is scheduled for, not the day it was booked.
Double-booking protection is not optional
We read your real calendar before offering a slot. If that read fails, we take you out of the running rather than risk booking over you.
Cancellations refund automatically
If the taxpayer cancels before the meeting time, the credit returns to your tax resolution balance on its own. No ticket, no request, no waiting on us.
Disputes are self-serve
Fake contact details, someone who never inquired, spam, or an abusive prospect: file it in the portal. Up to two disputes in a rolling thirty days are approved automatically.
No contract, no auto-renewal
There is no subscription on tax resolution. You buy a block of credits and you stop by not buying another one. Auto-refill exists if you want it, and it is off until you turn it on.

The honest other half: a no-show does not return your credit. Someone who takes the call and decides not to hire you does not return your credit either. That is the cost of doing business, and pretending otherwise is how meeting prices get inflated to cover it.

the terms

What it costs and what it promises.

Priced on its own ladder
A tax resolution meeting starts at $150 and falls to $115 per meeting at volume. It is priced on its own ladder, separate from bookkeeping, and we state it plainly rather than let you assume the two match.
Credentials are reviewed, not self-declared
The designations on your profile are read by a person before approval. A credential nobody looked at is not a standard, it is a checkbox.
Unclaimed leads do not sit on a shelf
A lead that ages out without a meeting booked on it leaves the Booked For You pool and is reclassified as a shared lead. Nothing is held indefinitely waiting for a firm that is not going to call.
The same protections apply
Credits never expire. Prospect cancellations before the meeting time refund automatically. Up to two disputes in a rolling thirty days are approved without a gatekeeper.
Meetings are yours alone
A booked tax resolution meeting is never shared with another firm.

What we are not going to do is publish a profile of the average tax resolution prospect, because the honest answer is that this program is young and we would be describing a composite rather than a measured population. When we have that number, you will get the number.

the boundaries

What we do not do.

  • We do not route a distressed taxpayer to a firm we have not credentialed.
  • We do not auto-approve an enrollment. A person reads the designations first.
  • We do not share a booked tax resolution meeting with another firm.
  • We do not let bookkeeping credits pay for tax resolution meetings, or the reverse.
  • We do not guarantee the taxpayer will hire you. A meeting is a meeting, not a client.
  • We do not publish a prospect profile we cannot back with real data. The program is young; we say so.

the honest part

What we will not pretend about.

Tax resolution is the newest program we sell. Here are the tradeoffs, stated before you buy rather than discovered after the first meeting.

A no-show does not return your credit
Someone who takes the call and decides not to hire you does not return your credit either. That is the cost of doing business, and pretending otherwise is how meeting prices get inflated to cover it.
The program is young
Tax resolution is the newest program we sell. We will not invent a profile of the average taxpayer, a close rate, or a deal size we have not measured. When we have those numbers, you will get them.
Credentials are reviewed, not live-verified
An admin reads the designations on your firm profile and approves or declines. It is a human review of what you told us, not a live lookup against a licensing board. We think you should know which one it is.
Unclaimed meetings do not sit on a shelf
A tax resolution lead that ages out without a meeting booked on it leaves the pool. Nothing is held indefinitely waiting for a firm that is not going to take the call.

before you buy

Common questions about tax resolution.

Is tax resolution separate from bookkeeping?
Yes. Tax resolution has its own pool, its own credit wallet, its own lead category, and its own approval. Being enrolled in bookkeeping says nothing about your tax resolution status, and the two are tracked independently even when a firm is in both.
Who is allowed to take tax resolution meetings?
Enrolled agents, CPAs, and tax attorneys. The designations on your firm profile are read by a person before approval. A credential nobody looked at is not a standard, it is a checkbox, and we will not route a distressed taxpayer to a firm that cannot help them.
What does a meeting cost?
A tax resolution meeting starts at $150 and falls to $115 per meeting at volume. It is priced on its own ladder, separate from bookkeeping, and we state it rather than let you assume the two match.
Are the meetings shared with other firms?
No. A booked tax resolution meeting is yours alone. Shared leads are a DIY product; tax resolution runs inside Booked For You, where every meeting is exclusive.
Can I be enrolled in both programs at once?
Yes. A buyer can be enrolled in bookkeeping and tax resolution simultaneously. Your pools, wallets, and meeting caps are tracked independently, so activity in one never touches the other.
What if the taxpayer cancels or no-shows?
If the taxpayer cancels before the meeting time, the credit refunds to your tax resolution balance automatically. A no-show does not return your credit. That is the cost of doing business, and it is how we keep the per-meeting price honest.
